Harmony, Love , desires

Suffering of spirit, soul and body could be due to Innocence being despised by existent
 evil  Opposing forces, or due to one's own faults .



Buddhism has referred that 'dukkha' or Sorrow is intrinsic in Existence;
A Jewish school of Thought refers that Prior manifesting into Physicality in universe, all spirits of beings were in Oneness of a HarmoniousLoving Creator, and even when in Physicality, have a subconscious Memory of this LovePeace & thus Desire to return to this PainFreeDomain -& thereby, all the Efforts to avoid& overcome PainSorrow.





Bible ( relevant portion, cited) refers that Friendliness,  Companions
 
lessen Pains Sorrows ( due to genuine Empathy, being Realised-  the Inner spirit Soul dimensions 
are where there is Unity / oneness & emergence of Similar essence that unites- all verses on Companions refer this - the Adam Eve bond was an Intrinsic spirit Soul oneness, Mother hen and kith was about Spirit Soul Led concern, Friends were referred as reaching out to Lessen pain due to intangible morals of Loyalty& Valuing affection , Believers and God were referred as Soul Mates or Bonded as One 
wherein irrespective of physicality & time space differences, another's Pain was felt and reached out to etc. ).
The Oneness / Relationship connectivity is possible when Intrinsic qualities are similar - scientifically , also, Essences ( Inner, spirit Soul Substance  bases) that are compatible
  are in Harmony
